Indian Men’s and Women’s Basketball Team won the Bronze Model at 4th Bali International WCABB tournament held in Bali, Indonesia from 27 to 30 July 2017.
WBFI has selected and sent 10 women and 2 coaches from India to Thailand for women development camp from 17 to 21, April 2017.
This camp exclusively for women WCBB players is supported by Australian Embassy.
There is a great need in India for trained classifiers, referees and coaches for wheelchair basketball. Hence with the intention to train more and more technical officials in this sport, we, Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India, have decided to organize the captioned courses and workshop for players with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Rs. 1000/- (WBFI is charging a nominal fee with the intention to encourage the participants. The fees is required to be paid only after receiving the acceptance letter from WBFI.

He has conducted training camps and helped organize sustainable wheelchair basketball programmes in different countries.
- Classifier Course : Physiotherapists. Preference will be given for sports physiotherapists with experience in supporting sports persons with disabilities in improving their physical fitness.
- Coaches Course: Basketball Coaches or Basketball Players who are 25 years of age or above
- Referees Course: Basketball Coaches or Basketball Players who are 25 years of age or above
